I would like to introduce myself: my name is Emanuela Del Zompo.
I was born in a little town of Marche, San benedetto del Tronto, (Ascoli Piceno). Cinema, journalism and books are my great passions. After achieving a high school diploma (at the Istituto magistrale), I was so fascinated by show business that i decided to move to Rome. There I attended drama classes and workshops and then embarked on a career as an actress for theater, cinema and tv, working with various directors and actors of national renown (see cv and press release). Yet I was not satisfied with the national panorama, so I travelled abroad in order to observe the world of Hollywood closely and know more about it. Aware of the professionalism of American stars, I compared the Italian show business to the international one and realized that it is necessary to know it thoroughly. Therefore, in order to join it, I decided to enter into journalism also (see cv for my activities in the field of journalism). I worked hard and trained for two years, by interviewing great characters of the “star system”, such as Leonardo Di Caprio, Hugh Grant, Tom Hanks, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Selleck, Antony Hopkins, Roger Moore, Russel Crow, the stars from “The Bold and the beautiful”, those from “The young and the restless” and “Sex and the city”, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Claude Miller, Giorgio Armani, Daniel Deu Lewis, Avril Lavigne, Gina Lollobrigida, Joan Collins, Dante Ferretti, Dino De Laurentis, Marusca Hargitay etc, as well as knowledgeable characters such as Vittorio Sgarbi, Remo Girone, Luca Barbareschi, Walter Veltroni, etc... Then I entered the Italian Association of journalists and started writing for magazines such as Chi, Ragazza Moderna, Vip, Fleming Roma, etc... Both my vocational training and mentality are of an American character, so I believe that one’s artistic career should be built brick after brick, just like a house. It was during my journeys to Hollywood, Monaco and Monte-Carlo that I had the idea of writing a book, conceived as a historic documentary about works of charity. That is how I have entered the career of writer as well, with my book “Grace, the unforgettable lady and princess of Monaco: the history of a humanitarian reign”. At present I write for the prestigious “Moving Pictures Magazine” (USA) and plan to go back to Los Angeles, which I deem to be a pivotal stage in my life for my artistic activities. I hope many of you will follow me, With my best regards, Kisses to all of you, See you soon, Emanuela.
